Victorian trade card advertising the New England Crape Refinishing Company for D.G. Alden & Co., Boston.  A crape is black band of crepe worn as a sign of mourning around the arm or, formerly, around a hat.  It is likely this was a cleaning product for black crepe mourning garments.
